You need a plant pot to work around, about 6m of string and some scissors

Cut 6 equal lengths of string and tie a knot in one end, that will be the tassle under the pot,

Next, tie pairs of strings together about 2 inches away from the big knot

Pop the knot into the plant pot and spread out the 3 pairs of strings evenly

Now tie one string from the left pair to one string from the right pair

Remember the pairs, split them up and join them to their neighbours. The pot helps you get the distancing right.

On the next round return to the original pairs and tie them together again

Pull the long ends together and tie one big knot about 25 cm from the ends

Then tie a smaller knot to make a hanging loop. Cut off the straggly ends
